[Capdist-auditions] More Sad News for the Theater Community

It is with great sadness that I announce the sudden death of Colin McCarty. He would have celebrated his 50th birthday this April.? It is suspected that a heart attack may be to blame, but an autopsy is planned. ? His obituary should appear in the Schenectady Gazzette tomorrow.? Funeral arrangements are still pending, however a gathering of friends and loves one will take place on Sunday, Feb. 10 from 4-8pm at the Emmerick Funeral Home on Route 9 in Clifton Park.? 

Colin was a gifted actor and a trememdous friend to all.? He recently had been cast in the SLOC produciton of BAT BOY.? Colin's partner of many years, Tom Heckert, is also a stalwart friend of the theater community.? He is being assisted through this difficult time by their very close friends, Joel and Sue Katz.? Please keep them all in your thoughts and prayers.
