Curtain Call Theatre is holding auditions for The Odd Couple by Neil Simon,
directed by Cindy Brizzell-Bates.

 

Audition Date/Time: Tuesday, May 5th 7pm-9pm at Curtain Call Theatre

Auditions will be conducted with excerpts from the script.

 

Characters: 6 Men, 2 Women

 

Males:

Oscar Madison (age: 40s - 50s)

Felix Ungar (age: 40s - 50s)

 

The Poker Game Buddies:

*	Speed (age: late 30s - 50s)
*	Murray (age: late 30s - 50s)
*	Roy (age: late 30s - 50s)
*	Vinnie (age: late 30s - 50s)

 

Females:

Gwendolyn Pigeon (age: late 30s)

Cecily Pigeon (age: late 30s)

 

Production Dates and Times:  Friday, September 11th to Saturday, October
10th (performances on Thurs at 7:30pm, Fri & Sat at 8pm, Sat & Sun at 3pm) 

 

Rehearsals: Begin late July (dates and times to be arranged with actors)

Plot: "This classic comedy opens as a group of the guys assembled for cards
in the apartment of divorced Oscar Madison. And if the mess is any
indication, it's no wonder that his wife left him. Late to arrive is Felix
Unger who has just been separated from his wife. Since he is very fastidious
and none too tense, they fear he might commit suicide and go about locking
all the windows. As the action unfolds, the clean-freak and the slob
ultimately decide to room together with hilarious results as The Odd Couple
is born."
